Create a 2-scene movie using the bouncing ball lesson as the first scene and another motion-tween movie from either your reading or an online tutorial as the second scene. If you want to combine two already created .fla movies into one movie with several scenes, be sure to use the Edit>Copy Frames and Edit>Paste Frames command rather than just the Edit>Copy and Edit>Paste command. Select all the frames in the timeline for each movie you want to copy and select Edit>Copy Frames.
You may attach your scenes.swf file to the Discussion area and reflect on the process.
