Lesson 9.2 Masking Examples

The brush that is painting the hills is created with the mask technique and a motion guide above the mask and masked elements. The 3 fonts illustrate the difference between using a font as embedded, device, and breaking the text apart to create shapes. The font I used was Sand. If you don't have Sand on your machine, the device font will default to a _sans serif font such as Arial. If you do have Sand on your machine, all 3 fonts should appear the same. The top embedded font and the bottom shapes create a larger file size than the device font. The bottom shapes are no longer editable as text since it was broken apart into shapes.
