Lesson 2 Introduction
Goals: After completing Lesson 2, you should be able to:
- display data with graphs - stemplots and, most importantly, histograms and boxplots
- recognize, describe, and calculate the measures of location of data - quartiles and percentiles
- recognize, describe, and calculate the measures of the center of data - the mean, the median, and the mode
- recognize, describe, and calculate the measures of the spread of data - the variance and the standard deviation
Lesson 2 sections are as follows:
2.1 Graph
2.2 Quartiles and Percentiles
2.3 Mean, Median and Mode
2.4 Variance and Standard Deviation
