Schedule

This course is typically 12 weeks long and is offered with a Graphic Design Lab. Students are expected to complete a lesson a week (10 weeks). The remaining weeks are used for completion of the final project.

• There are ten lessons in the Lessons area. Each lesson consists of readings from the web, the author's lessons, a textbook reading, as well as a corresponding assignment and quiz.
• The author recommends reading the textbook readings from A Typographic Workbook before doing the lessons, assignments, projects and quizzes for the assigned lesson.
• There are 10 assignments in the Assignments area. Each assignment consists of one exercise and  some work on one of the four projects. Each of the four projects spans several assignments.
• There are ten quizzes in the Exams area.
• You are encouraged to post exercises in the Discussion area. (See how to save your files)
• Learners should always print a copy of their work to include in their sketchbook.
